Glow Jars
Posted by Lindsey on May 6, 2012
I lovelovelove this glow jar project, which I found on pinterest, so I decided to give it a shot. Glow sticks are, of course, toxic so I suppose I should tell you not to try this at home.

All you need is:
- A pair of scissors
- A few jars (I used plastic bottles)
- A few glowsticks
To Make Glow Jars:
1. Peel labels off of your jars or plastic bottles.
2. Snap your glowticks3.Cut your glow sticks
(when you cut your glow sticks, don’t get them everywhere, like I did)

4. Pour the toxic chemicals into the jars
5. Put the cap on and shake
5. Enjoy your glowing lanterns. They may need periodic shaking to keep the glow juices evenly distributed. Plus it looks cool when you shake them, so why not, right?
When I was editing these photos, somehow this came out, and I thought it looked pretty cool. I thought I’d share it =]
